Built from Frustration with Disposable Housewares
Hearthfold began around our own kitchen table in Birmingham. We were tired of flimsy plastic organisers that cracked after three months and cheap battery gadgets that stopped charging within weeks. Our home felt cluttered with tools that promised convenience but ended up creating more waste and frustration.
We decided to do things properly. We partnered directly with small workshops that work with seasoned Moso bamboo and extruded aluminium. Instead of dropshipping unchecked parcels, we set up our workshop on Caroline Street, where our small team inspects every single order before it is packed into recycled cardboard boxes.
We keep our business straightforward. We do not use exaggerated marketing or confusing middleman fees. We offer simple payment choices like cash on delivery and bank transfer, and we back our products with honest thirty-day returns on unused goods.
We test every drawer runner, silicone seal, and rechargeable motor ourselves. If an item feels flimsy or awkward in daily use, we do not stock it.

We prioritise bamboo, aluminium, and food-grade silicone over thin single-use plastics. This ensures our pieces last through years of daily household handling.
Personal Accountability
We are a real team working from Birmingham who answer our own customer calls and emails. If something is not right, we sort it out directly.
Straightforward Service
We explain our materials clearly and offer honest payment through bank transfer or cash on delivery. There are no gimmicks or hidden surprises at checkout.
